HOUSEMEISTER CHRONICLE

Radio Legend Olaf Zimmermann , Founder of „Elektro Beats“ invited Housemeister, Westbam, Robert Goerl from DAF, and Gudrun Gut from Malaria for one of his last Radioshows on Radio 1. He runs „Elektro Beat“ for 38 Years, wich is then the longest playing Radioshow for electronic music in German history. Big thanks to Olaf, who always supported Housemeister, he was 5 times invited to Elektro Beats.

Berlin legends, T.Raumschmiere and Housemeister, have teamed up for their new release, ‘Samstag Nacht’, under their new collaborative project, T.Raumhouse. This new artistic duo stems from a friendship that spiralled over decades. They toured together from the 2000s and now aim to bring the 2000s nightlife back to Berlin. This new release encapsulates the 2000s through pulsating basslines, unearthly percussive samples, and signature vocoder vocals. ‘Samstag Nacht’ feels like a combination of retro, and spacey futuristic electro. The drums are gritty, and an element of underground punk lies within the track as the pace builds throughout. Supporting the track, is a new music video, also written and produced by T.Raumhouse, which features Joy Tyson.

Housemeister 2nd new Album in 2020 is like always completly different, super melodic, fast beats and comes as Vinyl and digital. Right on schedule for sun-kissed dance floor manoeuvres and beachside psy-ops, Housemeister’s second album in 2020 ‘3NDL3SS SVMM3R’ finds the German producer steering away from the dark, muscular techno thrust that innervated his previous iterations to drop anchor into further euphoric rave & wave horizons. Trading the iron glove for more malleable textures and hair-raising buildups, this new seven-tracker reintroduces the old Housemeister back to his audience, as he returns to a more kindly melodic, feels-conducting approach not unlike that of his earlier records. Mixing a fine meshwork of cottony synthlines, skittish drum patterns and the beautiful voice of no one else than the incredible * MISS KITTIN *
